Featuring six Chinese Canadian’s personal reflections on their family immigration’s history , the series unveil the arduous, multifaceted and interweaving pathways that Chinese diaspora from different backgrounds have taken for a new life in Canada.

Yip Sang's Legacies Documentary
Chinatown’s oldest building, Wing Sang, was built by Yip Sang - a visionary Chinese merchant and community leader. Started from nothing, he created a home, a family, and a legacy in Canada. The short film follows the history of the Wing Sang building throughout the timespan of a century - once a home for generations of the Yip family, now the home of the First Chinese Canadian Museum in Canada.
